Question 1

What's the difference between structural and architectural consulting?

Accepted Answer

Architectural consulting covers design, functional layout, facades, the building's identity, and how it is used. Structural consulting covers the structure's safety: load analysis and the design of foundations and the frame under the Saudi Building Code. An integrated project needs both, and we provide them coordinated under one roof.

Question 2

What does an engineering feasibility study cover?

Accepted Answer

A feasibility study answers two questions: is the project technically executable, and is it economically viable? It includes engineering-alternative analysis, cost estimates based on Saudi market prices, profitability and payback indicators, and a risk assessment — then a clear recommendation to support your investment decision before any funding is committed.

Question 3

Do you supervise project execution?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide on-site engineering supervision that verifies execution against the approved drawings and specifications, with material quality checks on delivery, periodic photo and report documentation, and technical observations addressed as soon as they arise. We act as your engineering eyes on site through handover.

Question 4

Do you serve individuals, or only companies and developers?

Accepted Answer

We serve individuals, companies, and real-estate developers alike. There is no minimum project size — from designing a family home to a developer's project portfolio, every client gets the same methodology and care.

Question 5

How do we start working with you?

Accepted Answer

Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email with a brief description of your project and the service you need. We discuss the requirements, clarify the necessary documents, scope, and schedule, then provide a clear proposal before any work begins.

Question 6

Do you work on projects outside Riyadh?

Accepted Answer

Our base is Riyadh, and we take on projects in other regions of Saudi Arabia on request. Contact us with your project location and we'll clarify whether we can serve it and how we'd work.

Question 7

What documents should I prepare before the consultation?

Accepted Answer

It varies by service. In general: the land deed or lease agreement, any existing drawings if available, and a brief description of the intended project use. We'll send you a precise document list once we know which service you need.

Question 8

How is communication and project tracking handled?

Accepted Answer

We set a primary communication channel with each client from the start, send periodic progress reports, and flag any change early. We make sure the client is fully informed at every step without having to chase updates.

Question 9

Is the firm accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Al-Ardan is a licensed professional firm accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers and registered under Commercial Registration No. 7031997310, working under the Saudi Building Code and official authority requirements on every project.
